UEFA Champions League - Semi Final - Key Player

Arsenal v Manchester United

Cesc Fabregas
The Arsenal captain is moving into top form since returning from injury in December. While Arsenal feared they would struggle in his absence, they went unbeaten in the Premier League and now the Spaniard has returned having benefited from the rest. His commitment to the Arsenal cause, as witnessed by his enthusiasm from the sidelines when Hull were beaten in the FA Cup, can never be questioned, and his role in the middle cannot be underestimated.Poorly Arsenal because Arshavin cannot play coz ineligible that he had playing at the Zenit. But we all trust that Gunners can beat Man U and grab the Uefa Cup.Go Gooners
Other key man: Theo Walcott,Samir Nasri, Adebayour

Cristiano Ronaldo
Brilliant, yet sometimes irritating, Ronaldo remains the most gifted player in English football. The Portuguese’s goal in Porto re-wrote the record books and kept United on course for an unprecedented five trophies. Arsene Wenger will be reminded in the coming days that he actually courted Ronaldo, showed him around the training ground and left with a Gunners shirt baring his name. How Wenger must wish he had Ronaldo ahead of this all-English encounter.
Other key man: None

Chelsea v Barcelona

John Terry
Chelsea managed to get beyond Liverpool in the quarter-finals despite missing Terry from the amazing second leg, through suspension, but the remarkable 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge highlighted how valuable the impeccable central defender is to the Blues’ cause. This season has again confirmed that Terry as one of the best - some would argue the finest - defenders in the world and his return is key to overcoming the Champions League favourites.
Other key man: Frank Lampard

Lionel Messi
The Argentinian has been in exhilarating form this season. He scored a hat-trick in the Copa del Rey tie against Atletico Madrid. Messi scored his 30th goal of the season in all competitions, helping his team to a 6-0 victory over Malaga in the process. And earlier this month, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final, he scored twice in the 4-0 win over Bayern Munich setting a personal record of eight goals in the competition. He has the potential to win the competition on his own.
Other key man: Thierry Henry
